John Collins
Growing up in the Piney Woods of east Texas, John had a fascination with trees from an early age. This passion for trees and nature led him to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Forestry (B.S.F.) from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2008.
Thus began a rewarding, multi-disciplined consulting career in the green industry that has involved wetland ecology, wildlife biology, soil science, and arboriculture. But with John it all comes back to the trees.
Tired of constantly seeing trees suffering from the malpractice of poor pruning and care, John started Rooted Arbor Solutions because he saw a greater need in the area for affordable, science-based tree care by a knowledgeable professional.
In his spare time John enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife, Mary, and two young children.
